Adultery – A Ground for Divorce in India
Adultery as defined under Section 497 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, is whoever has sexual intercourse with a person who is and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the wife of another man, without the consent or connivance of that man, such sexual intercourse not amounting to the offence of rape, is guilty of the offence of adultery.”
Adultery Under Hindu Marriage Act, 1955
Section 10 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, says adultery is defined as a ground for judicial separation. The section states that the parties can file a decree for judicial separation or divorce because they are mentioned under Section 13(1) of the act.

আমার এক দাদা আছে। উনি ফেঁসে গেছেন। গত ২০১৮ সালে আমার দাদার বউ ২.৫০ মাস ধরে সংসার করে বাপের বাড়ি চলে যায়। তারপর দাদার নামে ৪৯৮a কেস করেছে। ৫ বছর ধরে কেস চলছিল। ৫ মে ২০২২ সালে hearing ছিল সেদিন দাদার নামে মিথ্যা বলেছে আমার দাদা careless। উনার বউ বলেছে আমি সংসার করবো। দাদা বাধ্য হয়ে বউ কে নিয়ে এসেছে। ৫ টা বছর পর বউ ফিরে এসেছে। কিন্তু দাদা বউ কে চেয়েছে না। দাদা আর ফ্যামিলি রা ingnore করছে কিন্তু বউ এর কোনো ইফেক্ট নেই। ১ মাস ২ দিন হলো। কিন্তু বউ এখনও আছে। দাদা হাই কোর্ট এ গিয়েছিল কিন্তু উকিল বলেছে আমার পক্ষে possible নেই। একমাত্র উপায় ইগনোর করার। যদি বউ চলে যায় তাহলে হবে। কিন্তু কি করতে পারে????

Wife যদি divorce দিতে না চায় তাহলে Husband কি Divorce পাবেনা?আট বছর বিয়ে হয়েছে একটা বাচ্চা আছে মেয়ে বাচচা কে নিয়ে বাপের বাড়িতে আছে।চার বছর ধরে মামলা চলছে ।ছেলে মেয়েকে ভরন পোষন দিচ্ছে ।ছেলের কি করনীয় ছেলে বিয়ে করতে পারবে না পারবেনা till divorce.

একটা case শেষ করতে মোটামুটি কত টাকা পর্যন্ত ব্যায় হয় স্যার

আর যদি wife সংসার করতে চাই কিন্তু wife এর বাবা ও মা তার মেয়ের সংসার করতে না দেয় তাহলে কি করব
