I feel awful for her. She didn’t deserve this. She doesn’t deserve him being in her life as a friend. He seems really selfish.
People here are saying that "love is a choice and he chose to stop loving her", I agree she deserves better but I don’t necessarily think that way of thinking is true, I fell out of love with an ex, it was mutual ofc but we were scared, i didn’t want to lose them and chosing to end our relationship to me felt like i was giving up on our relationship. We talked it out and both agreed we were better separate, it was the worst feeling but i knew they deserved somebody who would love them forever.
Sounds like he messed up. That is a good woman right there.

I really like her. And I can see that deep down inside her there are still a pictures of them but still convince herself that she’s o.k. i believe she’s a good and caring person.
If they truly walked away as they were busy that’s shallow. You don’t get married and walk away because you are both busy. So you meet someone else, they have a job and work aswell and you hardly see them so you divorce them aswell. I’m guessing there is alot more to this or I hope there was more of a reason to split. Wish them both the best.
This guy split with her, she’s still hurting from the split, he’s seems to show he’s moved forward. She needs to focus and move forward and meet people aswell, I mean it’s not a ‘he’s met someone so I have to’ but she’s hurting, needs to sort those emotions over time and then meet someone else.

The thing is… I kind of feel he is looking for something in marriage that doesn’t exist. It does become a bit of a routine but you still love the person, and he seems like he still does love her. He should have stuck it out. I imagine, with his expectations, he may be single still. Wish them both to get back together ❤

Sounds romantic, but as soon as hunger steps in the door love jumps out the window. Have your s*it together before marriage. It might be sealed with a kiss and all, but marriage is still a contract and the act itself doesn’t make life “upgrade” you if you have no ring or money from the jump.

The best that this woman can do is to talk with a counselor, not her ex.
Get rid of anything her ex touched, liked or gave her.
In addition, start listening to totally different music that her ex hated or that is new to her.
Take a trip whether it’s just a day trip or further away if she can. New places & experiences make new good memories that are all hers.
When something is lost, broken or disappears, putting something fresh & new in its place gives a new perspective.
The end of this video made me sad, as I know her pain… going through the the exact same thing with the added dimension of my wife having an affair. The best thing is acceptance and forgiveness, don’t labour over the past look to the future and look at yourself. It tough I still look at the family we had and miss things they way they were , but in all honesty I wasn’t happy either.
I threw our wedding photos out, we still have digital ones, there are great photos of family who have moved on so I couldn’t destroy everything. I look at us in our photos and wonder if it was all fake and what I should have done. It’s all pointless just put the album in the attic if you have digital copies chuck it out.
