Russ is a different beast when he is the number 1 dude. He just needs to add the spot up 3 like Harden this year and he’ll be able to play off the ball when he returns as the 2nd or 3rd option or when he doesn’t have the ball in his hands all the time. As a rhythm player myself, I know how hard it is having to adjust to off the ball catch and shoot. It’s a lot easier to get in a shooting rhythm when you have the ball in your hands. Russ just showed he’s still Russ if he’s running the show and can play free.
