Hidden camera footage of Mormon temple ritual

If you’re looking for the movie, “We will go down”, starring University of Utah alum and award winning adult film star, Christie Stevens, you’ve come to the wrong place. This is just hidden camera footage of part of a secret Mormon ceremony recorded in a Mormon temple in Arizona in 2016. Sorry.

I’ve posted several Mormon temple prayer circle videos on YouTube but rarely post footage of what happens immediately after the prayer circle. Most of my videos (including this one) were recorded BEFORE major changes were made to the temple endowment ceremony on January 1, 2019. This video begins immediately after the prayer circle seen in the following video as it ends at the 6:14 mark: https://youtu.be/ZPXxYStfuC0

This video shows the part of the Mormon temple endowment ceremony commonly referred to as “the instructions at the veil”. Mormons believe that they will be required to give Masonic handgrips before entering the Celestial Kingdom (aka Heaven) to the angels that stand as sentinels. Only Mormon adults are allowed to participate in this ceremony. In fact, a vast majority of Mormons under the age of 18 have no clue what adults do in their temples. They’re told it’s “too sacred to talk about”. I’m not kidding.

In August, 2012 I posted the first hidden camera video of Mormon temple rituals online. It was a nearly six minute, poorly focused clip of the instructions that are given at the veil that I recorded with a well concealed iPhone in the Jordan River Temple in South Jordan, Utah.

Four years and over 3.5 million views later, I thought I’d remake that original video with a significantly higher quality version. This time the hidden camera recording was done in the Phoenix Arizona Temple in June, 2016.

My original 2012 video, titled, “Episode 1: Mormon Temple: Veil Instructions” can be seen here: https://youtu.be/Xg2bxBHbsIU [NOTE: The AOL email address shown at the end of the 2012 video is no longer valid.]

  1. Read some of John Campbells books. It will enlighten you about rituals and religious concepts that are common all over to he world in many different religions.

  2. At the end they eat a KFC bucket of goodness, afterall, it was the Colonel doing the demonstration of the veil right?

  3. Mormonism is a cult and everyone who is trusting in anything other than the sacrificial, atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross will die in their sins and go to hell. Repent and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Get a Bible/download a free one on the App Store and read the book of John!

  4. Noah. You are pathetic. You probably snitched on every person you did not like in school. I was a Mormon. Waaaaahhhh. See my secret video. Waaaaahhhh.

  5. The crazy thing is that they toned it down in the 90s when info started leaking out about the weird stuff they were doing… they used to take a blood oath to secrecy and slide their thumb across their neck to show they would die if they told the secret rituals to anyone else

  6. “Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD” they changed the word to “that Jesus is the Christ” that’s not the scripture. Jesus Christ is LORD, KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.

  7. You should be ashamed of yourself. What goes on in the temple is not weird. It is not secret, it is SACRED. We don’t talk about it outside of the temple because it is SACRED not secret.

  8. They also get secret names they can’t tell anyone else because it’s like a secret password to get into heaven. The messed up thing is that the man gets the secret name for himself and his wife, she can’t get into heaven without him because only he knows her secret password/name.

  9. I read the comments from other Christians’ and they have confirmed, that all religions are biased. "Yours is wrong and mine is right". Its this inherent or implicit bias, that has destroyed the lives of so many. Stop this nonsense, once and for all.

  10. I am a former Mormon. I left the church because I’m gay and don’t feel there is place for me being who I am. However, videoing something that is sacred to them is wrong even if you don’t agree with it. I say let people worship who and what they may and be respectful of it. Even though I have a lot of anger, confusion, resentment, etc. towards the church, I still respect what they want to do.

A cult by definition is a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. It is also a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister. It is also a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.

With that being said, I see how lots of people think it’s a cult. It is strange but it is not sinister. They do the best, just like any other church, to better themselves. They do worship or devote themselves to Jesus Christ. So to me, they are Christian. I don’t agree with everything they do or say, just like most people don’t agree with all religions.
I am not just defending the Mormon church but all churches. You won’t agree with everything they do or say, but you should still be respectful of what they consider to be sacred to them and ask for permission before filming this. Let’s find things that bring us together instead of driving us apart.

  11. It seems like a dark blasphemous version of the temple. They all look to me like they are trying to be high priests of some sort ignoring so many factors. This is dark on so many levels. I pray these folks repent and turn to christ. God bless

  12. Zoroastrians in india also forbid cameras in their most sacred room in their temples. Outsiders also cannot enter their temples. Noone thinks it’s weird.
