  1. Thank you for your videos but I’ve realized that when I click on your videos if it for example a 5 minute video I need to skip to 2:30 or 50% into the video before you get to the meat of what I clicked on the video for to get past all the disclaimers and factors. At 3:45 of this video, you said…now let’s get to the actual numbers. This is is guy thing but I’ve noticed generally speaking when I click on a guys info video, he gets to the point must sooner than a typical females video. But again, thank you for the video. I’ll keep clicking on your videos and skip to the half way point.

  2. hey I’ve been pretty interested in studying law in general could you tell me which lawyers make the most money in average? The internet keeps giving me mixed results lol. Great video btw 🙌

  3. How would it be if someone from another country comes to work as a lawyer as a company lawyer in a place like new york

  4. Hey Angela… I am at a loss here. If you, or anyone you know can help with this I would be eternally grateful… Without going into too much detail my dad is wrongfully being sued by a heavy haul company he worked for, for roughly $4500… they are sueing him from a state across the US in which he has never lived and was only a 10-99 employee. I am out of options . If he pays it… he would have to sell his only transportation. If he shows up he loses his right to due process, if he doesnt he could have a warrant which would end his trucking career.
Every lawyer he has talked to requires hundreds to even speak with him… which we dont have. If theres anything you or anyone you know can do please let me know. Thank you.

  5. And does the law school u graduated from affects how much ur starter salary is? And if so which law schools are the best to get a high corporate lawyer salary

  6. Would be helpful to hear about associate turnover rates and hours at the firms. Government salaries are lower but main benefits are job security and work-life balance so discussion of salary is but one factor.

  7. I feel like im interested in ip law and i would easily specialize in 2 of the types, but they all seem to fit me. Which 2 types of ip law combined would be the most rewarding? (Talking about uk here btw)

  8. Hello Angela, if you’re there I have a question for you. What is your opinion on senior partners making well into seven figures? Thank you.

  9. Hey! I was wondering what the retention rate at a typical NYC/DC-type BigLaw law firm is. I’m sorry if there’s a video on it or a video which includes that, but I did look (and have watched most of your videos 🙂 ) and couldn’t find any. I ask because I didn’t know if, at some firms, simply lasting until the 6th/7th/8th year proves your worthiness in and of itself. If this information is closed, I definitely understand. Thanks!

  10. I’ve been hearing the job market for lawyers is quite saturated at this point any many grads are having trouble landing jobs.

  11. Hello, I’m a law student at Mansoura college in Egypt , i study in English section and i do study american law as well , am i any different than law school graduates from USA as example or can I be employed immediately after graduation like them?

  12. i have a question my employer broke the contract for the complex his security company works so I wanna tell the client lawyer that my employer broke the contract but I wanna be paid for my cooperation in given them the ammo to successfully remove him from the contract since I will be given up my employment how can I go about this

  13. For new JD grads, Biglaw usually offer the most $$$ (180k to 220k USD, 2021 figure). Public sector seems to be significantly less – with a low of 30 to 50k as a public defender. And of course, there are 10 to 15% of lawyers from ABA credited universities that couldn’t land any legal related jobs for 6 months or more. For non-ABA credited schools, the number is SIGNIFICANTLY higher. T14 usually are the feeder schools for Biglaws (40% to 70% of T14 students gets an offer from Biglaw, while schools that are ranked below top 25 usually won’t have more than 10% of its graduates getting into Biglaw). That said, these statistics are just numbers as each individual has his/her unique path. There are plenty great successful lawyers from non-ABA credited schools and there are some Harvard JDs that turned out to be total losers.

  14. Can you please recommend me some books that will give me a basic knowledge to start with as I am going to study law as an undergraduate next year?

  15. Getting a high paying job also depends on the school you went to, experience level and private v public. Becoming a lawyer seems much less of a lucrative career unless you’re attending a top 25 school going private sector. Most lawyers won’t be making more than 80-90k a year. Factor in 80-200k of debt, it isnt what people think it is financially.

  16. hello Angela , i need your help , i’m 15 years old and i live in Morroco . my question is can i be a lawyer in another country ? (usa, uk , canada , korea….) and what do i need to do to become a big lawyer ….i mean 100K or plus

  17. What does it mean to work in academia as a lawyer, like a professor? Also, generally, are lawyers paid more in a law firm vs a corporation, or is it generally the same?

  18. Something else I wondered was about the OCI – for example, let’s assume that I fast forwarded my life by 5 or so years but still retained my current interests. The two things I’m most interested in are executive compensation and trusts & estates. In your OCI, do you SAY that, or is that a turn-off because they’re smaller practice areas and therefore would give you less of a chance of a callback?
