STEP 1 – Download the required Nevada divorce papers

STEP 2 – The spouses will need to get together to fill out the following forms and file them at the court clerk’s office in the county where you reside:
Civil Cover Sheet
Personal Case Information Form
Personal Case Information Additional Page
Family Court Information Sheet
Joint Petition for Dissolution of Marriage
Affidavit of Resident Witness
Request for Submission
3 copies of all forms
2 stamped, self-addressed envelopes (1 for each spouse).

STEP 3 -Submit the forms to the county court clerk’s office in the county you have been residing in for at least 6 weeks. Pay the filing fee (check with your county to see the fee).

STEP 4 – There are rarely court hearings for no-fault divorces in the State of Nevada. You will likely, if the steps were completed successfully, be mailed your Divorce Decree within 15 business days of filing your papers to the court clerk’s office. If not, you may want to contact the court. At this time, the Nevada divorce process is complete.
