What do you need to do to get ready to divorce a covert narcissist?
A divorce from a covert narcissist is a marathon, not a sprint. It will take a long time. You will need endurance. Fortitude. Inner strength. And agility to pivot when things get thrown at you.
To get into this kind of shape, you have to train, just as you would if you were an athlete training for a marathon!
There are 4 areas that you need to tackle:
Emotional well-being: Do something every day that tells your brain that you are special and worth taking care of.
Psychological well-being: Say affirmations every day.
Physical well-being: Start your day with a morning ritual, watch your diet, limit alcohol, and exercise.
Spiritual well-being: Pray and/or meditate and show gratitude every day.
Financial well-being: Fight for the settlement you believe is fair, but let go of any attachment you have to the outcome. Then go out and make your own money!
These are the best ways to get in shape so that you’re ready to divorce a covert narcissist!
