  1. I think they can work it out. I’m a member of the LGBTQA+ community & in my 40’s so marriage has been very meaningful to me since I wasn’t able to do so 5 years ago. Another comment said the 13 year itch & I agree. WORK ON IT!! The worst thing that can happen is that you end up getting divorced!!

  2. Wow you’re not going to grant a divorce because they’ve both obviously decided to be adults about the situation? Just because they can be civil doesn’t mean they should stay together in my honest opinion.

  3. People don’t understand deep meaning besides marrying each other. If they truly married, there wouldn’t be divorced.

  4. Aren’t they acting exactly as courts want? The court can’t compel you to fall in love again.
This seems to me to be dangerous waters.

  5. They should file for a new judge. Clearly the judge shouldn’t be ruling on this case if they can be cordial to one another, put their kid first, but not be together. Stop saying work on it, if you are not them. Just because you can be married doesn’t mean you should be married. Some parents are better when they aren’t married, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
