Wow, what about what makes you happy? You have given your power to everyone else.if he doesn’t want to spend time with his own son then that is a red flag for you too see. The other thing it’s all about him going to school and you taking care of you son his son and nothing left for you.no fun time nothing. But what about you doing what’s best for you and your son and one-day get you a man or husband that is looking out for you and your son’s happiness? You are setting your self up for a lot of hurt & pain sister.A real man doesn’t want you to be unhappy.His about himself.
Wonder why he didnt say he wanted to move his son, ex-wife, and ex-wife husband….until deciding it on e they were married.
Maurice this woman is to old for you more like a moma I don’t see the compatibility.Like she said she need to live and not try to pull you into her past.She is not the one.
She chose this life so ain’t no need of crying about it. She knew maurice came with a package deal. So now she has to except it or move on
I lost out on much in my life at 25 and 26, because I chose to be a single mom period! I subconsciously knew better, but still made the choice. My children are 17 and 18 now. I’m not even trying to catch up n what I missed out on.
I’m 33 and my husband is 43. I raised my son and daughter as a single mom. Funny I have a real estate company and a Credit Repair Company. My husband went through a custody battle and now I’m raising his son also. It feels overwhelming at times but I made it my responsibility to communicate and tell my husband to step up and take on more roles. He cut back on his hours and deals with the boys and I worry about my girl which is a breeze for me. We both have demanding careers that afford us a comfortable lifestyle but we also have fun. We travel and hang out sometimes we leave the kids or we bring them. We don’t stop living because we have kids. She needs to stop trying to live life vicariously through others on Facebook or she will never feel fulfilled.

Makes you appreciate being single, child free and traveling the world with your friends. Kudos to Kimmie for putting her child first. Hopefully she can now do everything she always wanted to do.

Maurice and Marsau both have a hands off approach to parenting. Kimmie is requiring Maurice to rethink that. He can’t just bring the baby home for her to do all of the work. He’s going to need to juggle too!

Kimmi is gorgeous here yet we still see her glow up 2 years later. BTW these same concerns played out. Think about when Maurice leaves before Monsters Mom and stepdad get there leaving Kimmi to discuss monster without Maurice.
Moving forward…3 years into the marriage and still no honeymoon…uh ok!

This couple is my fave! I appreciate Kimmi’s transparency & honesty by stating that she “chose” the role of being a single parent because SHE “chose” to get pregnant. As women, we have to be honest with ourselves & take ownership of circumstances. She was a woman that chose to get pregnant (no condom, no birth control, etc.) but most importantly, no excuses or male bashing! You did a great job with your son Kimmi, kudos!

Who’s here in 2021 after Dr Francis told Maurice he has another wife? Being a blended family I have so much respect for Kimmie. She’s so more mature and it’s really not her responsibility to raise their youngest by herself. She really wants to be a great wife and support Maurice. I hope he realizes how rare and special of a woman she is and doesn’t take her kindness for weakness and put her last. Wishing y’all the best !
