I think unless there are true “Biblical” grounds for divorce, it is wrong to divorce. It’s pretty selfish actually. Saying “I have a right to be happy” in regards to your marriage is kind of like taking a loan and then saying “I have a right to be debt-free”. No. You don’t. When you marry (assuming it’s a Christian marriage), you promise each other, each other’s family, and most importantly GOD that you will forsake all others…until death do you part! Simple concept. If you’re not up for it…DO NOT GET MARRIED.

They mentioned two factors, living longer and wanting to be happy/fulfilled. Let me add some other ones.
No fault divorce makes it easy to walk away for no reason at all. Many states still have permanent alimony. Most divorces are initiated by women and most alimony is paid by men.
I think the non working or less accomplished spouse is incentivized by the system to walk out. They get to permanently keep the husband as provider without being a wife. I’ve seen men get devastated financially by divorces at an age where their career is winding down. They may have thought they could retire in a few years but that becomes impossible. When their income declines or they are out of work they have to burn through their half of the assets paying alimony to the ex who already got the other half. It’s crazy. I think young men are seeing this happen and many are deciding that marriage is for suckers.
They’re not trying to find themselves, they’re trying to find peace!
Another reason for men not to marry in the first place. Imagine trying to keep a woman like this "happy".
