The Divorce Process in North Carolina

Raleigh, North Carolina divorce attorney Carrie Tortora breaks down the process of getting a divorce in North Carolina. Generally, divorce is handled in one of two ways, in court or out of court. Outside of court, there are a few options available: if the two parties can come to an agreement outside of court a separation agreement is created that sets forth the terms of the divorce, a mediator can help assist the divorcing parties to reach terms that are agreeable to both, or the parties can enter arbitration to help reach an agreement.   1. When you want to cancel the marriage contract, why would you want to enter into another contract with your ex?? This seems ridiculous.
